2005-04-27 Columbia Offers Palletizing Systems for Cost-effective Mixed Retail Stacking

New palletizing accessories from Columbia Machine are designed to help product suppliers provide smaller retailers with greater flexibility in inventory selection and product display. Available for both floor-level and high-level palletizers, Columbia’s special conveyors and controls enable “mixed retail stacking.” This increasingly popular palletizing technique involves stacking loads with alternating product layers, or even different products within each layer. The palletizing flexibility gives smaller retailers more cost-effective inventory options, such as purchasing less-than-pallet-load quantities, and simplified re-stocking.
